The laptop is hot to the touch and the fans are loud. A common sign of dust accumulation in the fan occurs when the laptop is constantly running and releasing a loud humming sound. Open the bottom case of the computer by removing 11 screws using the TORXT6 screwdriver. Then lightly dust off the fan with compressed air. If the fan has been properly cleaned and is still warm and continues to make a humming sound, the fan is defective and needs replacement. Replace the fan using this guide. I bought my Acer Swift 3 from Curry's 7th August 2021. Since I have had numerous problems. I sent it into repair in September after the problems increased. At first it was kernal power. The screen went blue every so often, since I needed it for work, I didn't want to take it in because of how long it takes. It was only when my laptop started to completely freeze that I took it in. I got it back a week later and they said it was a corrupt and outdated operating system. Isn't that what updates are for? Not even a month after, I started having the exact same issue. I took it back in December and got it back on the 1st of January same again only this time the microphone was somehow corrupted too. I checked all my drivers and it said all of them were up to date. On the 27th of January, the issues started again. I paid 700 for a GOOD laptop that would last longer than my old one. The money I spent on this laptop, I expected it to be amazing but no. Is this what they are all like or was I sold a faulty laptop?Thread was edited to add model name to the title
